Najwan is a Libyan Legal Consultant and Appeal Lawyer with more than ten years of experience within the Libyan legal system. Recently admitted to plead before the Courts of Appeal, she has extensive experience representing clients before Libyan courts, drafting complex legal documentation, and providing legal counsel across a range of practice areas.

Formerly a Legal Coordinator and Consultant at Tumi Law Firm, Najwan has also practised with Kilani & Gheblawi Law Firm and Tabagh Law Firm, where she provided legal opinions and courtroom advocacy. Earlier in her career, she focused on family, civil and criminal litigation and gained corporate experience working with Bjkin Construction Company.

Najwan holds a Licence in Law from the University of Tripoli and a Diploma in Literature and French Language from the University of Toulouse II (Jean Jaurès), France. She has also completed training in French, English and basic Spanish.

• Advised on the review, drafting and risk assessment of commercial agreements and contracting arrangements to ensure compliance with Libyan law.
• Acted as legal coordinator for a leading Libyan law firm, managing client communications, procedural matters and legal operations.
• Provided legal opinions and advisory services on tax, commercial and civil law matters to support corporate compliance and asset protection.
• Assisted commercial entities in resolving complex labour disputes through negotiated settlements and alternative dispute resolution.
• Drafted defence memoranda, court filings, legal notices and regulatory reports relating to ongoing commercial and civil proceedings.
