About
Baha is Counsel at Eltumi Partners. He has a broad corporate and commercial practice spanning transactional, contentious and intellectual property matters, advising businesses and individuals in Libya, across the region and internationally on English law matters. His clients range from SMEs and entrepreneurs to FTSE 100 companies, international investors and private equity funds.
Having trained and practised at a leading UK law firm, Baha has substantial experience advising on corporate acquisitions, restructurings, governance and complex commercial arrangements. He regularly drafts, reviews and negotiates commercial agreements and advises clients across a range of sectors, including regulated industries. He also acts on complex High Court litigation involving commercial contracts, financial services, debt finance, professional negligence and property disputes.
Intellectual property is a key focus of Baha’s practice. He advises on trademarks, copyright, designs and trade secrets, from registration and portfolio management to licensing, assignments, IP due diligence and contested proceedings before the UKIPO, EUIPO and USPTO. He is regularly instructed where corporate, commercial, intellectual property and litigation issues overlap.
Clients benefit from his careful and critical analysis, precise drafting and commercially focused approach to achieving their objectives.
