- The Role

Our internship gives interns the opportunity to sit alongside our legal team and gain a better understanding of what international commercial legal practice entails. Our interns shadow our legal team closely and undertake tasks commensurate with their abilities. The experience helps interns to start gaining critical legal practice skills and know-how, and it provides insights to guide interns’ future careers.

- The Candidate

  • In the third or fourth year of working towards a bachelors’ degree in law from a leading Libyan university (we cannot consider graduates of private universities or similar) or a leading international university;
  • Excellent academic results to date;
  • Ability to identify relevant lines of research and select appropriate sources and tools;
  • Ability to analyse complex legal and factual problems and to identify challenges and solutions;
  • Fluency (written/verbal) in English & excellent command of Arabic language;
  • Strong IT skills (Word; Excel; Outlook; Adobe); and
  • Strong communication skills, hardworking and proven ability to discharge responsibilities and duties with due care and skill.
