The summit will be a major event in the energy and economic calendar, with participation from a range of countries and domestic and international stakeholders.
First established in 2021, the Energy and Economic Summit aims to explore and create partnerships for economic and energy opportunities in Libya, between domestic and international players.
It is ultimately a results-oriented event which brings stakeholders together to explore opportunities meaningfully and get deals done.
A range of participants are expected to be in attendance. The summit will host delegations from a number of countries and blocs, including the EU, OPEC, the US, Turkey, Germany, Italy and France. And participants will include key Libyan institutions, including the National Oil Corporation, as well as major international corporations.
Among the range of topics explored at the summit will be energy infrastructure, renewable energies, Libya’s energy frontiers (including offshore potential) and sector-relevant technology.
